Janine Crowley Haynes
author of "My Kind of Crazy -- Living in a Bipolar World" will lead discussions on parts of her book. Janine says "Bipolar Disorder is a serious subject but her book is not a depressing one. It's laced with humor to help the jagged little pill of mental illness go down a little easier." It is also very touching. Her first episode was at age 30. She has gone thru years of a rollercoaster between mania, depression, psychosis and paranoia with numerous hospitalizations. Her husband and 12 year old son saved her after a suicide attempt. Their voices are included. She has not had an episode in four years... She will bring discounted copies of her book to sign. She is in the process of converting her book into a screenplay as a Hollywood producer loves the approach and thinks it will make a good script. Note: you can get an idea by "Looking inside -- Surprise Me" several times in Amazon.com
